Established in 2024, The Land, Farm and Property Consultancy provides strategic rural advice to a wide range of businesses throughout northern England and Scotland. Led by an experienced Chartered Surveyor, Stewart Hamilton, LFP can provide forward thinking land occupiers with a high quality and efficient service on a cost-effective basis. With a keen eye for detail, significant back catalogue of successful outcomes and a unique approach to maximising client returns, LFP can assist with a full range of professional services.

Our approach

Being genuinely enthused by all things rural allows us to provide open and honest advice with a focus on long-term goals to the benefit of the individual business. The rural landscape continues to shift with landowners uniquely placed to assist with government net-zero targets through renewable energy projects, hydrogen production, environmental schemes, Biodiversity Net Gain unit sales and woodland creation. Given the long-term implications associated with many schemes, receiving the right advice early in a project has never been more important from a tax and legal perspective. 

Remaining heavily involved with the management side of the family farm in Scotland means that Stewart retains a strong working knowledge of the farming and business environments north and south of the border.
